With the current COVID-19 pandemic situation, GLPIEF is here to support and focus on the needs of our district, from administrators, to students, to teachers, to staff.
During these unusual and uncertain times, the needs of our underserved students are our highest priority. I hope that GLPIEF can be the steady, patient, supporting actor ready to take the stage at any moment.
There are many wheels in motion, with much uncertainty daily, and ahead. Our school community is working to stay positive and persistent as we navigate this new stage. Together we need to hold our heads high with Wildcat spirit, and know that we will all come through this due to the support and efforts of all.
My fellow board members and I ask that anyone in the school community that is in a position to contribute to please join our efforts. Your contributions will support emergency requests to Wildcats Emergency Fund, which provides direct support to children in need, and will help with expenses related to Greater Latrobe School District’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic such as providing daily student meals ensuring students have access to technology during online schooling.
We hope that members of Greater Latrobe School Community will consider a gift and be ready to join us on stage.
Thank you for your support,
Julie L. Jones, GLPIEF President
