Giving to the Annual Fund is a vital component of the Greater Latrobe Partners in Education Foundation’s (GLPIEF) fundraising efforts and we are extremely grateful for your support. When you make a personal gift to GLPIEF you are continuing Greater Latrobe School District’s tradition of excellence.
GLPIEF has recently granted $106,000 to support the following initiatives:
$18,000 to support the Social Emotional Learning Professional Development and Curriculum Implementation
$14,000 to support Project-Based Learning Professional Development for K-6 teachers
$9,500 to help update the computers in the Senior High’s Video & Broadcast, Journalism and Photography classrooms
$10,000 to support the start-up costs for the new STEM Project Lead the Way Human Body Systems course
$20,000 to support Special Education Department program needs
$13,000 for Celebrate Innovation and Dr. & Mrs. William D. Stavisky Fund classroom grants
$21,500 to support K-12 cultural enrichment programming
In addition, GLPIEF annually administers:
$25,000 in scholarships to seniors and over $5,000 in dual enrollment scholarships to senior high students in need.
The Wildcats Emergency Fund for students in need and the newly created DOT Project- which provides student hygiene supplies.
GLPIEF wants to ensure that programs like this continue for Greater Latrobe students and we hope you consider joining our efforts this year so we can Frame Our Future together!
